Implementation
FonX Delete User was developed as a modular WordPress plugin with a focus on security, configurability, and compatibility with existing WordPress websites.
The plugin uses WordPress REST API endpoints for request processing, a server-rendered shortcode and block for frontend integration, and an administration interface for managing requests, fields, settings, and logs.
Security measures include request validation, a honeypot field, HMAC-based guest-token verification, IP-based rate limiting, sanitization, capability checks, and server-side handling of external API requests.
